You don’t have to walk through life alone.
The gospel is the good news of what God has done through Jesus Christ. It is an invitation to be forgiven, made new, and brought into a relationship with God.
You don’t need to have everything figured out before you come to Him. You can start right where you are.
God made you for relationship with Him.
God created us in His image and loves us. But all of us have sinned and fallen short of His good purpose. Sin separates us from God, and we cannot repair that separation by trying harder or being good enough.

Jesus came to bring us home.
God did not leave us without hope. Jesus, God’s Son, lived without sin, gave His life on the cross for us, and rose again. Through Him, we can receive forgiveness and new life—not as something we earn, but as a gift of God’s grace.

We can respond to Jesus.
Following Jesus begins with turning toward God, trusting Jesus, and receiving Him as Lord. It is the beginning of a new life with Him. You can come honestly, with your questions, your regrets, and your hopes.
If you’re ready, you might pray something like this:
Jesus, I need You. I believe You died for my sins and rose again. Please forgive me, make me new, and lead my life. I put my trust in You. Help me learn to follow You. Amen.
These words aren’t a formula. What matters is turning to Jesus in faith. If you prayed this—or if you’re still unsure—keep reaching out and asking questions. You don’t have to figure it all out alone.
Take a next step
- Read the Bible: Start with the Gospel of John and get to know Jesus through His words and actions.
- Talk with God: Prayer can begin with a simple, honest conversation.
- Find a church: Look for a community where Scripture is taught and where you can ask questions and grow.
- Keep exploring: Faith grows one step at a time.
I didn’t know much about God until my 50s. He kept pursuing me through years when I felt lost, and my life began to change when I finally stopped long enough to listen. I’m still learning to follow Jesus, and I believe no one has to walk that road alone.
